Our students

Each year our students achieve outstanding success in VCE and NAPLAN. They make us proud to be part of their journey and we celebrate their achievements whether they attain a high ATAR, achieve their personal best, or gain entry into their course of choice.

Class of 2020 - VCE Results

We are delighted to inform you of the very pleasing results of our VCE students in 2020.

We are proud of our results at both an individual and collective level. The VCE Class of 2020 worked hard in an unprecedented year with their dedicated teachers to achieve their best. I would also note that the performance of the VCE Class of 2020 is underpinned by the tireless work of teachers in all year levels.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM SIMONDS CATHOLIC COLLEGE VCE RESULTS IN 2020

  • All students successfully completed their VCE
  • Dux of the College is Jack Keating who received an ATAR of 97.55
  • A perfect score of 50 was achieved by Jomar Inot in Media
  • Median Study Score of 31
  • 22% of students achieved an ATAR score higher than 90, placing them in the top 10% of students in the State, with 12% scoring higher than 95
  • 36% of students achieved an ATAR score higher than 80, placing them in the top 20% of students in the State
  • 40+ Study Scores were achieved in English, Psychology, Health & Human Development, Further Maths, Media, Maths Methods, Chemistry, Biology, Legal Studies, History and Product Design & Technology
  • Outstanding Study Score achievements by Year 11 students placing them in the top 3% of the State: David Batonda - Further Mathematics (47); Eldrick Nuique – Further Mathematics (46) & Psychology (45); Noah Seiderman - Psychology (44) & Health & Human Development (44); Vincent Lam - Health & Human Development (44)

Class of 2019 - VCE Results


HIGHLIGHTS FROM SIMONDS CATHOLIC COLLEGE VCE RESULTS IN 2019

  • All students successfully completed their VCE
  • Dux of the College is Carlo Nilo who received an ATAR of 98.4, including a perfect score of 50 for Psychology
  • 11% of students achieved an ATAR score higher than 90, placing them in the top 10% of students in the State
  • 25% of students achieved an ATAR score higher than 80, placing them in the top 20% of students in the State
  • Median Study Score of 30
  • Top 40% of VCE students achieved an average ATAR of 84
  • Outstanding achievement by two Year 11 students, Leonardo Pacioni and Jack Keating achieving Study Scores of 47 in Further Maths and 45 in Psychology respectively – placing them in the top 2% of the State.
